Moday’s Biggest Release: Up-To-Date Highlights of Spring 2011 Collections

These recent weeks have been booming with new ideas, a wonderful front row, and crazy but, copy-cat worthy street fashion. I wish to give you all the details of what happened and what I think is to come. However, it goes against my fashion values and philosophy. It just won’t make sense to talk of spring when we are dawning on new fall weather!

So I decided to surreptitiously, or not, sneak in an up-to-date sneak peek of what I love so far. I couldn’t contain myself when it came to Givenchy’s animal print and structure, Gucci’s so-called “Sophisticated Seduction”, and Burberry Prorsum’s chic motorcycle jackets. So far, this spring 2011 season is fantastic!

Givenchy: I think Givenchy’s chic, sheer skirts and reappearing animal print will be a collection remembered for a long period of time.

Gucci: Gucci’s color pallette for this collection was rich and colorful. However, the uniqueness and sophistication was brought forth with wonderful draping and sexy cutouts. The collection was a pure example of how color doesn’t define what  collections are, technically, all about.

Burberry Prorsum: It is obvious that Burberry is capable to make a lot of money with this collection. The collection was a commercial, smart move and the collection still conveyed what Burberry was all about. Outerwear is Burberry’s specialty and the motorcycle jackets still put them on top. I also enjoyed the bright colors and neons that perused through the collection.

So now that you know what I think so far, tell me what you are thinking about this spring 2011 season!
