One Look Does It For Me, Pucci

The psychedelic prints and trademark scarves. Even Emilio Pucci’s rise to fashion fame is a wonder. However, this Spring 2011 season, I was really enchanted by only one runway look. Not that the other looks were unsuccessful, but one really did this sexy, feminine, and sleek collection justice, and that look is shown above.
Later, I might regret choosing not to thoroughly review Pucci’s collection. The creative swimwear and cover-up duo was masterfully integrated with the right amount of sex-appeal. The cutouts weren’t too revealing and least resembled promiscuity. Pucci’s Spring collection dazzled me in frills of maxi dresses, skirting down the runway, a splendid approach.
Yet, I feel deeply that the look above is the only greatness that came out of the 20+ pieces. The boots are gorgeous in color, design, and structure.
Plus, the dress above can be imagined in another James Bond movie, where a woman wearing the look is holding on the back of a motorcycle with Bond himself. Her bleached blonde hair traveling in the wind as she adjusts her oversized chic glasses. However, she is masked with deceit, because she’s seducing the man for her career advancement in espionage. A cool story, huh, but only comes to show the imagery Pucci enabled me to imagine. That’s true talent!
