Blood Red Faces at Viktor & Rolf’s Runway

A ‘Modern Medieval’ Look at Viktor & Rolf titles WWD‘s review for the Viktor & Rolf collection of the autumn season. As captivating as the futuristic clothing presented during Paris Fashion Week were, the beauty looks would be–perhaps the most interesting. Red paint covered the faces of the models–the inspiration unknown. The Huffington Post humorously tells that the makeup consisted of, “No bold lipstick, sleek eyeliner, or bright blush — just all red paint.” So  much that a model, Lindsey Wixson, had to leave Paris Fashion Week early due to a major allergic reaction.  Indeed it was great for the runway, but I doubt if we will be sporting red faces this season…just saying!

  1. Love this post – Viktor and Rolf always knock out a great catwalk . . . this could be one of their most commercial yet . . . at least the clothes that is!
