Trend Card: All White Everything

Wearing white is almost one of the most functional staples of spring and summer fashion. However, white as a trend peruses the runways as a standard addition–hardly ever a miscellaneous attribute. One looks to white on the runway as a silent rule of thumb. Without the appearance of white on a spring and summer runway, the audience–perhaps is either negatively or positively affected from the lack of the color.

This season, Celine brought white to its spring runway frequently. Mostly in long, flowing white trousers or a “scrub” like shirt. (In a sense, the shirts reminded me of Prada’s darling collection this spring–more minimalistic however.)

I tended to like the monotone appearances of white; it was chic in its simple way. Indeed, a white shirt, wide-legged trousers, and a pair of statement shoes proves to be all you need this spring, summer season–thanks to our beloved Celine.
